How it Works/My Process

The initial consultation call is completely free of charge and is primarily there for us to have our first conversation. This is an opportunity for us to discuss who you are, what you need, and whether or not I’m the right fit to help you achieve your desired outcome. In other words, this is simply a quick chat to see if another conversation would even be beneficial for the both of us.

We’ll talk about your budget, basic project needs, and assess if my expertise aligns with your goals. Sometimes, I may not be the best fit, but this conversation ensures we're on the same page from the start.

If my services are a good match for your project, we’ll schedule a secondary call. During this conversation, we’ll dive deeper into the project scope and strategy. We’ll outline specific objectives, timeline expectations, and any potential challenges. If there’s a deadline involved, we’ll confirm that too, ensuring everything is aligned for a smooth workflow. By the end of this call, we’ll have a clear understanding of how the project will unfold.

Once the project scope is defined, what I call “pre-post-production” planning can begin. While not always necessary, storyboarding and outlining the visual direction can be helpful, especially for larger or more complex projects.

This step ensures we’re aligned on the creative vision and gives you a clear map of what to expect from the project. If you feel it would benefit the project, we can take the time to plan these details together.

For our higher-tier packages, we’ll continue to have regular check-ins throughout the project. These conversations help ensure we stay aligned, review the progress, and adjust goals if necessary.

Open communication ensures the project evolves as intended, and any feedback is incorporated smoothly.

During this stage, I’ll carefully work through the footage, applying the agreed-upon edits, motion graphics, color grading, sound design, etc, from assembly to completion. I’ll even come on set of any productions if needed to better understand how I can be as prepared and effective as possible.

Once the editing is complete, I’ll prepare the final product for delivery, ensuring everything meets the agreed-upon standards. You’ll receive the final version in your desired format, and I’ll be here for any additional feedback or revisions if needed.
